NHTSA Recall No.  26T008

 

This notice applies to Xcellent Roadbreaker A/T tire, size LT305/65R17 (“Recalled Tire”).

 

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

 

 

Dear Xcellent Roadbreaker A/T tire, size LT305/65R17 Customers:

 

General Rubber (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (General Rubber) has decided that Xcellent Roadbreaker A/T tires, size LT305/65R17 with Tire Identification Number ending in “4324” (the manufacturing production week) fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 139 (New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles).    

 

What is the Noncompliance?

 

Due to an isolated issue during the manufacturing process, Recalled Tire may experience separation of inner liner and cracking in the tread, which may cause decrease in tire pressure and vehicle crash without prior warning.

What Should You Do?

 

If you own one or more of the Recalled Tires, you will receive a full refund for the purchase price upon presenting the purchase receipt and the Recalled Tire at the distributor location, shown below:

Reimbursement

 

If you have already replaced a Recalled Tire, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Submit a copy of your replacement tire invoice/receipt before September 1, 2026 to the following address for reimbursement:
